Running coach in Norwich

Experienced, friendly and professional running coach.

Running coaching from a former world class athlete.

People have busy lives and running for most people is a hobby. Simple, structured 1-1 running coaching can help you enjoy running more, improve your running and give it a purpose, all while fitting around your work, family and social life.

Coaching can help you improve by introducing or building on three key areas:

  • Adding a structure, a plan and goals to the running you’re already doing

  • Providing accountability, feedback and purpose to your running in a friendly, personal and productive way

  • Ongoing support and guidance to help you avoid common pitfalls, injuries and training mistakes

All coaching starts with an initial consultation. Plans and advice should be personal and tailored to you.

How run coaching works

Initial 1-1 meeting

All coaching starts with an initial consultation. Coaching should be personal and tailored and this is the perfect way to start that. This initial chat is about establishing a coach / athlete relationship. Coaching works best when we’re both on the same page.

  • This will be face to face and typically lasts 1 - 2 hours

  • We’ll go through your current training and fitness

  • Discuss your goals and objectives

  • Agree an initial training plan and race programme

  • and most importantly, make sure we’re on the same page.

Ongoing bespoke, run coaching

We’ll then stay in touch as this training programme begins. Training plans should adapt as training goes on and our contact will make sure training is always going ahead in the way that’s needed for you.

  • Weekly training updated and feedback

  • Ongoing advice for injury prevention

  • Experienced tips and advice for everything in between

About me, Paul Evans

I started running at 25 which made me relatively late to the running game but I quickly grew to love absolutely everything about running. Luckily, it turns out I wasn’t too bad at it which allowed me to run some races I’m truly proud of.

More than anything though, i’m excited to use this extensive experience at every level the sport to help others improve and love running in the same way I do.
