Coaching and how it can help you changes from person to person. Some people want the structure and accountability while some just want ongoing feedback and someone to consult with about future plans. Whatever you feel like you want from coaching, let's chat to see how we can work together.
This depends on the coach most of the time but it normally ranges from £30 to £60 on some sort of regular basis. For individuals, my coaching costs £40 per month.
This changes from person to person but the main benefits people find from having a coach are:
someone external to discuss training and plans with
external, impartial advice on training and recovery
long-term guidance and an eye over everything you’re doing
help when starting out or going for a new challenge
someone to hold you accountable can also really help!
There is no specific point in your journey that you’ll need a coach, but there can be a few key junctures where a coach is most useful. It’s worth saying too, whether you need a coach is a personal choice.
coaching can really help you get started and comfortable running and reaching those first few goals
it can really help experienced runners who have maybe plateaued and want to progress
if you suffer from a lack of motivation, the accountability and encouragement of a coach can really help
for newer runners, the injury risk reduction advice and training plans can ensure your running journey starts off as well as possible
